I see a still image / camera freezes / black screen in video chat
Check whether the problem is on the host's end by trying to chat with another host. If the problem occurs with every host you try to chat with, go on to the next step.
If you are using a dial-up or Satellite internet connection, click here
If you are using a high-speed internet connection, follow the steps below for your browser
Please choose your browser from the menu:
Internet Explorer (PC):
On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Shift+Delete
In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, make sure "Preserve Favorites website data" isn't checked
Check the following boxes:
o Temporary Internet files
o Cookies
o History
Press the Delete button
Important: close ALL your browser windows and reopen them
Firefox (PC and Mac):
On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (PC) or Command+Shift+Delete (Mac)
Choose "Everything" in the Time range to clear dropdown menu
Check the following boxes:
o Browsing & Download History
o Cookies
o Cache
Press the Clear Now button
Close your browser and reopen it
Chrome (Mac + PC):
Click the Chrome menu icon on the browser toolbar (3 horizontal lines)
Select Tools
Select Clear browsing data.
In the dialog box that appears, choose "the beginning of time" from the dropdown menu
Check the following boxes:
o Clear browsing history
o Empty the cache
o Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data
Press the Clear browsing data button
Close and reopen your browser window
Safari (Mac + PC)
To open the Preferences menu, press Command+, on a Mac or Ctrl+, on a PC
Choose the Privacy tab
Click Remove All Website Data...
Choose Remove Now in the dialog box
To empty the cache, Open the Safari menu and choose Empty Cache (Mac) or press Ctrl+Alt+E (PC)
